This is the view from the backseat of an RAF Typhoon as it navigates a low level course through the Lake District and the countryside of Wales. Rather than a generic rock soundtrack, this video features a narration by Flight Lieutenant Jamie Norris, 2013 Royal Air Force Typhoon Display Pilot.

Wow. I love the Typhoon, it looks outstanding while having superb performance. I read somewhere that it holds its own against an F-22.

I have read that the Typhoon will outmaneuver anything the US can currently field. Of course, that was probably written by an English author.

Haha, yeah. Part of it is how unstable it is. Without the computers it would fall out of the sky, it's like it wasn't made to fly. Unstable=maneuverable if you can keep it in the air.

Yeah, Sploid recently discovered The Aviationist. I started posting stuff from there a year or so ago. In fact, Hardibro emailed me and asked me if I worked for The Aviationist. I used to get quite a few H/Ts for that stuff. Now Sploid posts it all. I still share with Oppo, since not everybody reads Sploid

That was excellent. I kept tilting my head back and forth to keep it lined up with the horizon.
That reminds me of the rally video where the driver is giving a running commentary the whole time while driving flat out. It is incredible how much stuff these guys are keeping track of and he still has the leftover mental capacity to give a calm running commentary.
